Spring Training 2023!


Minnesota Barbeque Society's Spring Training workshop on April 15th will be our tenth workshop. This workshop is for all that have an interest in BBQ, whether in the backyard or competition. This workshop includes a talk on "The Science of Meat” from Dr. Cox, Director of Meat Science at the University of Minnesota, as well as hearing from our keynote speaker Erica Blaire Roby of Blue Smoke Blaire's Barbecue. Erica is the winner of Season 2 of Food Network’s “BBQ Brawl”. The workshop is an all day event including a carcass breakdown, speakers from within the industry on everything BBQ related, and equipment vendors. It also includes a BBQ lunch prepared by some of Minnesota's winning BBQ teams.

The Minnesota BBQ Society is a nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of the art of outdoor cooking.
